Pitchford scores against Clinton. gridiron season The Bombers, having only four lettermen from last year, lost their first five games of the season. Then, sparked by something unknown, they took a 25 to 7 victory over Berryville. Apparently saving something for the Thanksgiving contest, the team dropped the next two games. On Thanksgiving Day, before an estimated crowd of 450, the Bombers, outclassed, bowed to Harrison, ending the season with a record of 8 losses, 1 win. Eighteen lettermen expect to see action next year, and several junior games are scheduled. ul T . .. . B fr. is- P Q s," iw: 41 r.... F 124 I 4 ifgil' QQ5Q!b ' f-,Q Q -74. me .
