The photo lab provides the photographic needs of the ship, embarked staffs, and amphibious ships present at the Naval Station, Norfolk. The lab is supplied with some of the most modern photographic equipment and patterned closely after those in CVA-type carriers. Public Information, portraiture, coverage of ships' exercises, intelligence, and reports of damaged parts are some of the different kinds of photographic service provided by IP Division.
