EPILOGUE The man has matured when he begins to search the heavens for the solace of eternity . . . and finds that sanctity is for the very asking . . . for those whose love is not the passion of pride, but the emotion of the human soul . . . Now, he can leave the arid tides of uncertainty . . . and climb the giddy heights of God’s omniscience . . . only to find his knowl- edge a stuttering, embarrassed child before the All-Knowing ... Yet, God has a way of tramping on the toes of man’s pride... so that he forgets his inadequacy and relies on the language of love to say what only the willing heart can say . . . for it has found all that is worth finding . . . And the soul of man rejoices, too . . . for it has found that life does not end with an obituary . . . there is an eternity to live . . . 125
