A SEMINARY FROM CHAPEL TO SEMINARY... A FAMILIAR PATH As in an ebbless void, when man had turned com- placently from the sight of God to the perpetual sleep of sin. . . and the human heart no longer seemed to symbolize all that was human . . . there came One Who taught the world how to love again . and for His efforts, ungrateful men designed a death for the Thief Who had stolen his pride and had left him blushingly naked in his sin . And Man fought back in shame with puny wood and nails . . . as though he were trying to build a dike of human limitations against the Divine tide of Love . . . the hollow triumph and the ageless murder were his to regret...and he began to understand .. .
