Mount Si started the season by defeating Issaquah, 5 to 3, and going on to beat Lakeside, 4 to 3, for the only two games won this year, ending the season in eighth place. The Cats will miss Dick Burmester's and Bill Young's hitting next year, as their base hits accounted for most of our runs. Two other graduating seniors, Dick Kelly and Gene Sterud, will be missed from the mound. Turning out after school this year, the Freshmen were trying hard to earn a position on next year's team.
