Rainier, who for the last 18 years has been dedicated to the students and faculty of MRI-IS. ' Mrs. Moshier came to Mt. Rainier as a secretary shortly after the school opened in 1958. After a few years, she became head secretary. Since that time Mrs . Moshier has trained three Principals and has kept everyone in line. She has helped many students with their everyday life at Mt. Rainier and has been a great support to the faculty. Before Mrs. Moshier came to Mt. Rainier, she was busy being a housewife and a mother. Raising three daughters must have been quite a job! She is now the proud grandma of six grandchildren. She is very active in the school and community affairs, and in P.T.A . , where in 1976 she won the Golden Acorn award. Her husband served on the school board for many years fMoshier Field at Highline High School was named in his honorj. Besides "running" the school, Mrs. Moshier has other interests. Iust to name a few: bridge, theater, camping, hiking, political activities, and helping others. Mrs. Moshier has been more than a secretary, more than just a friendly smiley she's been a friend to all. So to you, Mrs. Moshier, with all our love and appreciation, we would like to dedicate this book and our fondest memories to you, our secretary, our friend, who we will miss greatly but remember always . if 15 lm wh. In this year's annual we feel we have retained the feeling and the people which can be remembered by just a glance. And also a memory we hope to capture in these pages of TOR 78. This year's annual staff would like to express our appreciation for the hours of patience and knowledge afforded to us by George Somoff, photographer. We would also like to express our thanks to Iim Palm, field supervisor, who has also put many hours into this year's annual. It's hard to visualize the time, pa- tience and knowledge that go into making an annual. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Gene Sartore, TOR advisor. His patience has been a great help toward the sometimes confused and disagreeable staff. We feell that if it wasn't for these three men, this annual wouldn't be here today. They have been a great help toward the annual of TOR 78. We hope this year's annual is as special to you as it is to us. This year has been a great experience which we will never forget. 4 1' 3 '-J' no Hang. fl .. A-,A 129' W. .Ii Ji. Ram tennis was full of fun and good spirits all season. Even though they didn't win as many matches as they would have liked to, the players kept their morale and had a lot of fun. Occassional water fights, a ball or two hit on the back of the head, "by accident" and Mrs. Pennington' s goodies were some of the highlights that made the season exciting. Of course the matches were challenging and fun but it is questionable as to whether the opponents compelled the players to show up or the many treats M.R. was known for provided by Tracy Ott from Rally Board, Mrs. Pennington and the team members. Although the scores look rather poor, the individual matches were much closer with a great improvement over last year. Everyone put up a good fight and had a terrific time sinking together.
