We were satisfied with the teams showing for the season and felt proud of it. The losses suffered in the 1937 season were not through the faults of the coaches, Coach Clark. with the able assist- ance of Nlr. Evancho, worked hard and produced a team to be envied by many coaches of the surrounding schools. Surely it was through no fault of the boys. Everyone knows how willingly they worked and sweated to satisfy the coach. They have nothing of which to be ashamed. Their playing speaks for itself. The prospects for the season of '38 are very favorable with the sedulously grouped, hard working boys. The fact that Hurst has lost several valuable players through graduation will not handicap the team as it has in former years. Coach Clark has found, in the last year, several underclassmen who show promise of being great players under his able guidance. With this very favorable outlook for the future, there is positively no reason why every game will not be a victory in the coming season. Good luck, boys! 71 'H Y L 0 i x t 53' -SESS 'S' ' ks: -- 1 f X A , tt, , - X ' '.-ff?"
