Foreword . . . With graduation almost upon us, we, the Class of 1949, find it necessary to bid a fond adieu to Mt. Penn High. Here we have shared each other's joys and sorrows for four delightful years and have formed associations which time can never dim. In this Penn Alma we have striven to record not only our memories but also those of our schoolmates: it this book can bring a flood of happy remembrances to its readers in future years, then we shall have succeeded in our purpose.
