The things we remember most vividly are often not the big events in our lives, but rather, the everyday occurrences. We remember rushing to arrive at school before the second bell, finding our own special places in the lobby, hearing Miss Green's voice resounding through the halls, scrambling to get to our lockers at break time, studying for six weeks' tests, walking to town for lunch, exchanging notes in the hall, and singing the Alma Mater at pep assemblies.
