And Softball The Mount Ida girls' softball team ended the season with a satisfactory record of six wins and eight losses, under the coaching assistance of Dawn Hanavan and not pictured, Rick Simmons and King Relic Next year they should have more experience and produce a better season The American Legion Baseball Team of Montgomery County contained five members from Mount Ida. Pictured below, they are Roy Hocker, Rick Simmons, King Relic, Mark Blocker, and Clark Davis. The team is made up of members from all areas of Montgomery County, coached by Mr. Chuck LaGrange. This first-year team had a fairly good year, but due to inexperience it was not a winning season.
