At the end of their tenth grade year students are asked to write a letter to Mr. Barrett if they would like to have a position on the Annual Staff. Mr. Barrett and Mrs. Phillips read the letters and select the people whom they feel are best qualified for the position. These people will be the assistant staff in their Junior year. They are trained by the Senior Staff that were also chosen in the same way. In addition to the training by the Senior staff, the assistant staff attends a workshop the summer of their eleventh grade year. The Annual Staff works hard at the workshop to learn new techniques. Shown working at the Mt. Ida table at the 1975 summer workshop are Kathy Whisenhunt, Jay Featherston, Stephanie Standridge, and Jeff Campbell. if
