Although he was like a Renaissance scholar with a myriad of interests and an unbounded treasury of knowledge, We also remember his devotion to his family, Warm personality and enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge. In the classroom history became more than names and dates as, With a special gleam in his eye, he would spike his noteless lectures with colorful anecdotes not to be found in the text books.
