rWI? .I fgiky , Nu KEY CLUB SPONSORS FACULTY BASKETBALL GAME This year Key Club has become a full-fledged and operating organization at Mount Gilead High School. Key Club's members have taken part in many school-wide activities. As a service to the student body, Key Club assumed the responsibility of posting the weekly list of school activities on the high school bulletin board. The Club's biggest undertaking was to sponsor a basketball game between the faculty and the Columbus 6ers. The game was well attended and enjoyed by the student body and public even though the faculty team was defeated. Members of the local Kiwanis Club are to be commended for their help in getting Key Club organized and operating. ' fiifliilif , g 5533, V iw I f' fv ij ,gys faculty basketball team. STUDE T COUNCIL PO OR MINI-COURSES Determination and success best describes this year's Student Council. Led by President Anne Whiston, they took on the task of holding at least one activity each month. Some of these activiiies included sending oflicers to camp, sponsoring the Homecoming parade and dance, a movie for the student body, the Holly Prom dance, a shirt sale and much more. One of the biggest activities was mini-couises. The mini-couises were held for three days before Easter vacation. Taking part in teaching the different courses were faculty members, students, and people from the community. The coulses were put to- gether and organized completely by the Student Council and advisor Mr. Allensworth. This year's Student Council did an excellent job of representing the student body. , Q- - . , y u W, L M. - ' , , U, ' 5 l T, ahi. an p 4 1 - C it usunn C u .
