Emerging from our freshman yearvfull of fun, still a little green but trying to act older. We entered clubs, the Y-Teens-Hi-Y-F. F. A.,-F. H. A.,-and Choir. Our boys are either on the A or B varsity and are doing very well. We gave a wonderful home-coming dance. We had parties, but we also worked hard with a large percentage on the honor roll. We have now learned how to work together and have one of the best classes in Mount Gilead High School. Our thanks to our advisor, Mr. King.

We are finally in high school, and are the best freshmen ever! To start our first year in high school out correctly we elected good class officers. We then got on the honor roll, and stayed there. We gave a Halloween party and a dance. We joined clubs, and our boys played basketball and football. We took a lot of beating from upper classmen but we are now ready to follow in their footsteps knowing that we will succeed as well or even better than they did, due to hard work and help of our advisor, Mr. Grizzell.
