ll CAPPELLA EHUIR The a Capella Choir is composed ot students trom the fresh- man, sophomore, junior, and senior classes. Mr. Paul Eley is the director. The choir has daily rehearsals and its members really earn the halt unit ot credit given tor the course. The choir has done some outstanding work this past school year. lt has made appearances at several churches in addition to programs sponsored by the Gttice of Price Administration and the Navy V-l2 project. The choir has taken part in several high school assemblies which visitors and the student body have enjoyed this year. SWING BAND The Swing Band, which was organized about three years ago, has really been on the beam lately, They have played tor several dances here, and also at Galion, Cardington, and Fredricktown. Their business manager is Don Brokaw, their theme song, Flash The members ot the Swing Band are: Helen Swisher, pianist: Don Brokaw, bass violing Bill Taylor, drumsp Don Clemm, trumpet, Lowell Bogart, trumpetg Bill Wood, trumpet, Delbert Foos, saxg leanne Robinson, sax, Dick Shuit, sax, Mr. Eley, saxg Addie Lou Klotz, trombone, Connie Loren, vocalist. TRIU The girls' trio is com- posed ot Marty Dye, Helen Swisher, and Connie Loren, with leanne Robinson as the accompanist. They started singing together 5 years ago and have made quite a name for themselves throughout the surrounding area of the country. TWIHLERS The twirlers in white were the entertainment for the half of each basketball game. The girls are not all from the high school. Mr. Eley tirst introduced the idea. 31
