SENIOR BAND Baldwin, Eugene Bogart, Lowell Boqqs, Malcolm Breese, Hilda Brokaw, Don Brown, Buford Burkey, Eileen Clemm, Don Davis, Martha Davis, Tom Dye, Marty Evans, Betty Flavin, Betty Foos, Delbert Furbay, Harold Gompf, Bob Hickson, Bob Higgins, Dean Higgins, Doris Iackson, Paul Keyes, Wanda Klotz, Addie Lou Linn, Margaret Loren, Connie Moody, Quentin Mac Gregor, Shirley MacMilIin, David MacMil1in, Martha Mc Carty, Louise Nelson, Marceil Newhon, Dorothy Parks, Wallace Phillips, Marshall Robertson, Neal Robinson, Gerard Robinson, Ieanne Shipman, Don Swisher, Helen Taylor, Bill Vail, Alan Ward, Anna Mary Whitaker, Pauline Wood, William The 43 members of the band have an oppor- tunity to do something tangible for the com- munity and especially for the war effort. Their appearances prove this. Besides play- inq for all home football and basketball games, the band played two days at the fair. ln October they made two appearances. They played at the installation of officers at the local American Legion Post and at the Morrow County Democratic Rally. On No- vember ll they participated in the Armistice Day Parade. The success of the Bond Auc- tion on December 4 was partially due to the pep of the meeting which the band added. On March 23, the band played for the ban- quet for the Salvage Committees from nine counties of Ohio. Because of the war, the band hasn't traveled this year. This organi- zation meets twice a week and each section meets oncea Week. All high-school students receive one-quarter credit per year for at least two periods every week.
