It seems like just yesterday we were walking into this school as little fifth graders, looking up and . . . . . . . r X ,W admiring the big kids at the top. I remember how frightened I D ' used to be, or how proud I was if someone that I knew up there n LJ would speak to me in front of my friends. Now that I am one of the big kids, it really doesn't seem to be such a big deal. Many students would say "excellent!" without a second thought. However, the second thought is the one that matters. The rules and regulations are the way we learn. Although we may not always agree with them, the administrators do what they think is best for everyone. HAVING IT WHERE IT COUNTS I never knew how much it took to make a school system run until this year. Even now l know l donlt understand even half of it. Our administrators work 25 hours a day, and they have to know all of the little details that make a school function. Those guys at the top have done a super job so far. We definitely have a concerned administration keeping the pride inside. 1983-84 SCHOOL COMMITTEE ALFORD - Mrs. Charles F. fKaren LJ Ketchen, VICE CHAIRMAN EGREMONT - Mrs. John A. fLinda FJ Bellizzi Mrs. Frederick I. The three R's have been taught to us since kindergarden by the ever-present teacher. Sometimes the faculty seems to be taken for granted simply because they are always there. Without them all the buildings, administrators, and students in the world could not make a school. Mt. Everett has acquired some of the most dedicated teachers around, and they are continually working in the interest of education. The basis for outstanding instruction comes from the instructor, and in this area Mt. Everett has outdone itself. ENGLISH DEPARTMENT lBackl Edgar L. Davis - BA, MEdg English Dept. Chrmn, Adv.
