At this time we seniors are making decisions that could affect us for the rest of our lives. From the first day of our senior year to the last, we are seldom left with idle time. There is always something to be done, whether it is applying to a college or deciding what to dress up as tor Halloween. As seniors we suddenly find ourselves with no one to look up to. There was always that class ahead of usg now we are that class! We are constantly reminded that we must begin acting as mature young adults and that the things we did as children are no longer appropriate for us. Well, the time for us to grow up is now, so we will leave Mt. Everett with a little bit of knowledge and lots of fine memories - so that when we get out in the big world, we'll have something to look back on and smile at. Q 4.1- .9 A -xl. Grandpa Vanderhof found out that he owed the government twenty-four years back income tax, a drunken actress fainted at the sight of the family's pet snakes, the F.B.l. arrested everyone in the family lincluding the would-be inlawsl. Fire- crackers, stored in the cellar, exploded, Mr. Depinna lwho had come eight years ago to deliver icel lost his Roman costume in the fire, and Alice Sycamore decided not to marry Tony Kirby. But no one had anything to fear, in the end the problems were resolved, and the stuffy Mr. Anthony Kirby loosened up a little. Both the audience and the actors had a great time. The play was directed by Mrs. Sally Cook. SEGALLA'S LAWN MOWER SHOP Canaan. Conn BERKSHIRE BAND INSTRUMENT CO. Rentals - Sales - Repairs Box 441, Prospect Lake Rd. The long-time planning by the prom committee, headed by co- chairpersons Gretchen Langer and Mike Johnston, was well worth the time. Couples began arriving at seven o'clock, and the buffet dinner began at seven-thirty. Our class president, Mike Johnston, then made a toast to the senior class. Shortly after dinner, the music began, performed by "Crazy Crow Revue," an eight-piece band from New York City. At ten o'clock voting took place for the prom queen. Mr. Lucy, Junior Class advisor, then announced the queen and her court: Nikki Tolov, Angel Soudant, Prom Queen Laurie Johnston, Debbie Grif- fin, and Tammy Petersen.
