He was active in sports and was a rep- resentative on the Student Council. During the school year, Tony was stricken by a disease which took his life on June 17, 1958. In memory of Tony -- his patience, cheerful- ness, and leadership -- the school has dedicated this plaque. May the players of both teams compete in Tony's spirit. And may we al-1 keep him in our prayers. The beginning of wisdom is: get wisdomg at the cost of all you have, get understanding Forsake her not, and she will preserve youg love her, and she will safeguard youg Extol her, and she will exalt youg she will bring you honors if you embrace her She will put on your head a graceful diademg a glorious crown will she bestow on you.
