As we leave the happy surroundings of MTC we fondly reminisce over the years we leave behind us-The day as freshmen we attended the Mission Mass opening the school year of 1952-53 . . . Election of class officers . . . The excitement of our first big Christmas dance . . . The enjoyment of our first retreat and retreat master Father Seery, OSM . . . The thrill of our Spring Formal . . . The operetta, In Old Vienna . . . The May Crowning and final exams. Upon entering our sophomore year acquired many new classmates: Doris Coon, Rich- ard Serna, Joanne Giambrocco, Frank Falsetta, Jim Phillips and Dan Malone . . . Our first year in the basketball and baseball Parochial League . . . The Press Convention . . . The firm establishment of the Pep Club and the festivity of our first Pep Club dance . . . The Variety Show . . . The Spring Hop . . . Our Retreat Master, Father Tobin, CSSR. Then came the day when we became juniors, upperclassmen . . . jim Garinger, Dick Lucci, Larry Conroy, Dan Martinez and Frank Gurule were added to our ranks . . . The Fall Festival brought our first Pep Club demonstration . . . Our first year in the football league . . . The thrill of receiving our class rings . . . The excitement of our prom Blue Gardenia are all priceless memories . . . Then came the Fashion Show . . . the Sodality breakfast . . . our mothers and fathers . . . Our first annual The Ave Maria . . . Father Novak, CSSR, our retreat master . . . Then the card that pro- claimed us seniors. The first activity of our last but most remembered year in high school was the Student Council elections with john Rossi voted president and Rose Marie Lombardi, Vice Presi- dent . . . The thrill of our first Homecoming Autumn Capers . . . Our retreat master, Father Lawrence Calkins, OSM . , . The Snowball Dance . . . Memories Are Made of This, our Pep Club Dance . . .
