Vice Presrdent Marjone Lamb Secretary and Treasurer Sharon Schmelzla Reporter Julra Ann Gorman Student Councrl and Cheerleader After what seemed lrke a short vacatron we started back to school as Juruors We elected the followrng offrcers Peggy Hrgglns Preszdent John Wrllrams Vtce Presrdent Sharon Schmelzla Secretary and Treasurer Drane West Reporter Ralph Bradley Student Councrl Jeanne Good Cheerleader We were happy to have our Juruor Homecommg cand1date Peggy I-hggrns chosen as Queen tlus year Th1s year we had many acuvrues to take part rn Some of the fust thlngs we drd were to sell magazmes and to sell at the football games Our class nngs arnved the fust of November and we were happy to get them The Jumor play Forever Albert went over w1th a bang after a few mrshaps and a lot of work Last but not least came the Junror Seruor Banquet wluch was bu1lt around the Gypsy theme At long last the fall of 53 rolled around and we started our last year as happy Senrors of Mound Crty Hlgh School We elected the followmg offrcers Dale Koontz Presrdent Lyle Stark Vxce Presrdent Annette Cosens Secretary and Treasurer George Lyon Reporter MarJor1e Lamb Cheerleader Sharon Schmelzla Student Councrl Slurley Johnson our Semor cand1date was chosen as Homecommg Queen th1s year Our class motto IS For the servrces of many but for the love of one M C H S Our f1rst Job thrs year was to mrtrate the Freshmen mto full membership of Mound Crty Hrgh School At last the ume came to take the Seruor prctures and to order our caps and gowns and announcements for you see the ume was drawrng near when we would soon walk out of the doors of M C H S for the last mme We had a hamburger fry and gobs of fun on our Senlor tr1p to Krrkwood Lodge rn the Ozarks After four years rn Mound C1ty I-hgh the day we were all lookrng forward to came at last the day we graduated and recerved our drplomas. , . . . . . 1 1 1 0 u . 1 S v 1 1 .
