You see, when the'Congressmen aren't there, the trash cans don't need emptying nearly so often. The Moultrie TransitCo. is now owned and operated by Rudolph Jar- vis. There has been some complaint that the busses go too fast. The reason was explained as being that Mr. Bob-by Joe Timmons has recently installed jet propulsion in all the busses. Glen Harden has recently beensinade president of the Hitch-hikers Club. He succeeded the honorable Billy Weldon who has been in office for ten years. Eunice Meadows, opera star, expects to visit Moultrie? next weekg Miss Meadow's personal secretary is Helen Tucker.'f'?1j'! jig, Mary Sherling and Joyce Lynch are members of the Sunset gaizulty. They attribute their success in the educational world to regular and punctual attendance. Miss Dorothy Nelle McCall, Dean of Women at the Okapilco Univer- sity, announces that the faculty and office force have been enlarged. They have two new secretaries, 'Daisy Belle Todd and Ona Faye Liles. The Moultrie Observer is now being printed up and down instead of from side to side. He is being checked at Milledgeville 'a. for further cornplic ations. Lawton Nloncrief, producer and playwrite, has announced he is planning to produce 'Nine Girls' in Moultrie again.

Mrs. Roger Dean Tucker, the former Miss Era Perry, has recently published her new book, How To Catch Men Easily. The book has been eagerly awaited ever since Era's dimples dashed many girls' hopes to the rocks back in 1949. Miss Faye Coleman is now teaching poor little green Freshman Eng . lish in Miss Bennett's old room. Also Miss Barbara Suber is director of music in Moultrie High School and the A Capella Choir recently got all one's at the National Music Festival in San Francisco, California. ..mi3:,,f-- The room formerly occupied by Miss Gladys Espy er- gl, ' is now in the capable hands of Miss Freddie Gammage. Their main attraction is their chorus line made up of Mildred Gay, Nell Burt, Barbara DeMott, Ona Faye Crawford, Frances Collier, Barbara Sherling, Helen Parker and Ola Belle Hudson. This chorus line is part of the original Rockettes from Broadway. Miss Vivian McEver's Home for WaywardCats was recently featured in Life Magazine. Her collection now consists of ninety-six Toms, eighty- seven mothers, and three hundred seven kittens. When asked if her zoo--I mean collection--bothered the neighbors, she stated, The -- neighbors -- left ten years ago. Sarah Griffin has just finished her latest book, Boric Acid, I and it has made a terrific impression on the public. Their eyes it are still burning. This is one of the many best sellers pub- 1 -gm-f lished by Miss Griffin. Her last, How To Be Smart And Not Study, sold out before it reached the newsstand. Since Billy Harvey bought nine copies and the teachers didn't get a single one, Billy is auctioning all his books at black market prices to all teachers in order that they may catch on to their students' tricks -M .. Z' in time. Miss Barbara Clark has opened her new alteration shop to the public. Until this time she has been making original costumes for Metro-Goldwyn- Mayer Studios.
