After their first performance they were run on Broadway--and out of town. Miss Olliff Hgrkan has just announced that her barn dance hall on the old post road is now open. She figures pp'f S Q C that since so many people use that road she might as well profit from it. She is teaching How to Stomp Grace- flls lessly in Ten Difficult Lessons for a small fee. I 1 X E .: Miss Agnes Giddens now owns a department store all her own. K Mr. Bobby Dykes and Mr. Ed Dorminy have recently found a new plant in their experimenting. Bobby claims the roots are formed of carrots, potatoes, and turnips. The tops resemble cabbage and it is re- proted that the bloom closely resembles an orchid. Mr. Dorminy and Mr, Dykes are planning on high profits. Clyde Truluck, their official taster stated-- If the plant is cooked one hour in boiling water, you have ready-made Irish Stew. Police Chief Floyd Addison, Ir., said today that i all wolves who roam the streets after dark must have a hunting license. Their main attraction is their chorus line made up of Mildred Gay, Nell Burt, Barbara DeMott, Ona Faye Crawford, Frances Collier, Barbara Sherling, Helen Parker and Ola Belle Hudson. This chorus line is part of the original Rockettes from Broadway. Miss Vivian McEver's Home for WaywardCats was recently featured in Life Magazine. Her collection now consists of ninety-six Toms, eighty- seven mothers, and three hundred seven kittens. When asked if her zoo--I mean collection--bothered the neighbors, she stated, The -- neighbors -- left ten years ago. Sarah Griffin has just finished her latest book, Boric Acid, I and it has made a terrific impression on the public. Their eyes it are still burning. This is one of the many best sellers pub- 1 -gm-f lished by Miss Griffin. Her last, How To Be Smart And Not Study, sold out before it reached the newsstand. Since Billy Harvey bought nine copies and the teachers didn't get a single one, Billy is auctioning all his books at black market prices to all teachers in order that they may catch on to their students' tricks -M .. Z' in time. Miss Barbara Clark has opened her new alteration shop to the public. Until this time she has been making original costumes for Metro-Goldwyn- Mayer Studios.

I finally completed my course in Home Ec. Now we can eat at home. ' Jimmy states that they have been eating in a restaurant for ten years. Roger Mansfield has just taken the place of Walter Winchell on the N. B. C. Network. Flash. Republican party leader Miss Virginia Claire Hays has announced that she plans to run Mr. John Mobley on the Republican ticket and Billy Harvey for Vice-President. Miss Hays also announces that when John is in the White House, she is going to have the balcony removed from the front and placed on the other side of that Presidential abode. Mr. Gene Britton cir- T' culation manager of the , N . ' e '29 . Moultrie Observer, 'N Q succeeded Mr. Elrle Taylor, Gene is quite - happy in his new job. Mr. Sydney Garrison, who finally finished at Tech, has volunteered his services to Moultrie High to construct pavement all around the campus. The faculty is especially proud, since this will aid Soil C onservation and at the same time relieve janitor service rendered by the teachers.- Dr. Edward Pattillo now heads the dental clinic at Berlin. His stenographer is Seena Akridge. g WhenFrances Adams and Jo Beth Herring opened their home for old maids, some one muttered, They finally did something for the good of man- kind.
