Mhxg s- IF Vocation exhibit at Fordham University. Such were the captions on the hundreds of pamphlets that were distributed during Vocation Week. The entire high school stu- dent body Went to visit the Religious Voca- tion Exhibit sponsored by Fordham Uni- versity. There we found l33 different re- ligious orders displaying their spirit and their activities. Among all the beautiful dem- onstrations was the booth erected by our Faculty, characterized by the precision of its art work and colorful scheme. Being Cabrinites we liked ours the best. especially because the Sacred Heart of ,lesus domi- nated the scene. Even though many of us felt we had no vocation for the religious life, we left the exhibit with feelings of great admiration for convent life, and a resolu- tion to pray daily that Cod might send more laborers into His vineyard, especially to the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart whose 11eed for co-workers indeed is great. Of all the alumnae, the girls we are the proudest of, are those who have answered the Nlastclis Call and are today Brides of Christ.

Uur Ring Ceremon A great hush fell over the entire assem- blage as we slowly filed into the chapel to the strains of organ music. As we walked down the aisle with what we hoped was a stately step, I could hear sighs and exclama- tions of How lieautifullw and Aren't they lovelylv, and out of the corner of my eye I saw that photographers were present to im- mortalize, as it were, the happy occasion. Indeed, we must have made a pretty pie- ture: the seniors in their immaculate caps and gowns. experiencing a forestate of their graduation night and we, the Juniors. in our uniforms to which our white caps and gloves and the white carnations lent a les- tive air. ln his sermon Father liayerty told llw of the great significance the rings hore and urged us to rememher always the Christian virtues and ideals they symbolized.
