The class of '60, consisting of one hundred fifteen students, was the lar- gest class ever to enroll in our school. This fact was encouraging, for the green frosh surpassed their upperclassf rnen in number, at least. Preposterous costumes for one day replaced initiation stunts, and provided amusement for older students. Horne- corning and the picnic came next, and the busy frosh found their first year passing quickly. Thirst for knowledge brought the 59fers together again, only this time to gain the title ot sophomores, The sophs, celebrating their second Hornef coming, marched away with second prize for their tioat. A cold October night set the scene tor the picnic, but the sophs ignored the weather, The sophomore social hour was the last event sponsored by the class, and started a much-needed treasury for the junior prom ot 1958.
