TRAFFIC COMMISSIGNERS The practical business experience which board members bring to school problems is especially valuable in the financial as- pects of public education. M.T.H.S. has been fortunate for some years in having a forward-looking board. Planning brought the present beautiful building to complef tion three years ago, and the installation of all departments in the new surroundings without interruption of the educative prof cesses, Normal growth will increase the enrollf ment next year by 5U students, plus more when the new Caterpillar plant goes into operation. Next fall, therefore, will see six more rooms added at the south end of the campus. For present needs, the board has provided a dryer for the Home Ec. rooms, two welding machines and a shaf per for industrial Arts, and a new glocke enspiel for the Band. improved parking areas and a high wire fence around the athletic field have facilitated the handling of crowds at games. The board has thoughtfully considered other problems of less tangible nature. A sincere interest in the welfare of the come munity has characterized their decisions. SEAT!-ID, left to right: C. A school teachers day is much longer than the seven periods which compose a students daily school hours. The eternal tasks of grading papers, attending meetings, and planning lessons, make every teachers day a lousy day, Social and private lives are neglected in order for the success of every major school event. The office personnel are few in number, but they do the work seemingly intended for many more people, Routine jobs, large and small, keep each M.T.l-l.S. day running smoothly.
