ir' Fast vw Becky Smith as Lorrai e introduces her newly-acquired boy-friend. Tom Koch. to her mother, Anna Frank. during the junior play WITH GREAT INTEREST. The dramatic ability of the junior class was tested on March 28 and 29 when they presented Seventeenth Summer. The plot was one which ev- ery teen-ager understood, for it embod- ied the many problems of growing up. Kit Clark played Angie, who met lack, Gary Strunk, and felt that her world was complete, Cast as her three sisters were Becky Aronott as Kitty, Agnes Cleary as Margaret, and Becky Smith as Lorraine. Mr. and Mrs. Mor- row, Kenneth Schwartzentraub and Anna Frank, caused Angie unhappi- ness, as did Angies two best friends, Lois Swedberg and Karen Metz. Lee Heiser, Tom Koch, Hans Weintke, and Ierry Kirby played the older sisters' boyfriends. Much of the credit for a successful play goes to the prornpters - Sue Grimm, Evelyn Dutelmeier, Margaret Schupbach -ew and the stage crew, of which Gary Elser was the head. l-le was helped by Gene Crumrine and Ed Ripper.
