THECAULDRON1946 History oi Morton additions until the whole structure was in its turn superseded in 1928 by the beautiful grade school building now in use. The first highschool building was erected in 1903, was remodeled in 1921, and was enlarged in 1938-1939. The school has grown from a small institu- tion with twenty students, two teachers, and a limited curriculum to an enroll- , , - I ment of almost two hundred, eleven teachers, and a curriculum which in- cludes vocational and business training, as well as a wide range of academic subjects. It is fully accredited with the University of Illinois, and with the North Central Association.
