Closs History Chapter I In 1941, seventy students entered M T H S as fresh men Within a few days the girls star ted a new style of extremely short dresses one sock and unmatchlng shoes Order was soon made out of thls chaos under the guld ance of their advisor Miss Donna Brown Assisting her was the president, Elwyn Miller vice presldent Floyd Bartelmay and secretary treasurer Rozanna Ueberr hein Durlng the course of the year this class was active in athletics and showed the us ual freshman interest in oth er school activities By spring of 42 their bright grassy greenness had turned to a very drab green indeed' Chapter II Dullng their sophomore year Robert Strunk served as president Margaret Hau ter as vice president, and Carolyn Visserlng as secre tary treasurer Miss Helen Waldorf and Miss Judith Spellenberg were chosen as advisors. The following students held responsible positions during this year: Carolyn Vissering, was secretary of the G. A. A.' Margaret Hau- ter was the Girls Chorus librarian' Rozanna Ueberr- hein was president of the Home Ec. club, and Ethel- mae Gerber was its secre- tary, and Kay Stimeling was one of the cheer leaders.
