A light that messages a friendly, safe areag a beam that warns of peril and higher up the light of the stars causing man to probe into the mysteries of the universe. These rays of light emanating from lighthouses, searchlights, and stars guide men and reveal their position in the theatre of life. So too, does each community focus its unseen beam of warning, recognition and approval on the people who move into its orbit. It acts as a controlling factor for its social betterment. It serves as a builder of character. To you graduates of 1957, wherever you may live, recognize your responsibility once you become a part of a larger group! Remember the light of recognition reflects greatest on those who contribute by sharing in community improvement. It gives recognition to those whose energy and effort are given in aiding the unfortunate, the ill, and the poorly adjusted. It pays a silent, respectful tribute to those whose hysical and mental faculties have been impaired, or to those whose lives were ost in the continuing struggle for human liberty. It serves as the yardstick of determining whether or not you are the solid citizen, of which any community can be proud. The challenge to be a participating and respected member is yours. I am sure that as time passes you will be in the beam and become recog- nized as a "solid citizen". It is hard to bid farewell to each class and particularly yours because the Class of '57 represents the last four year group. In working with you there have been many pleasant memories and associations. I hope life will return to each of you happiness, success, and many pleasant reunions. To each member of the class, may I congratulate you in behalf of the faculty, and wish you a pleasant future, rich with new and challenging experi- ences, and may you always have a warm spot in your heart for "Old Morse High." 2 cuhernne tomar cykov lp-uw 'fwx IS7 nf' swf ma' wma ii IOHN CHOATE Ch em zst1y Physzcs 11411101 Class A dvzsor 1-IARRx HALLSEX Bzology Geneml Sczence Soplzomme Class Advzsor Football Coach IT, E E Mr HA Flu NC H -I. limvfxkn Pom I-tum' Sub Master Mefllmlirvll Drawirzg Senior Class Advisor Al I x FFIMSSNCUIY ge Jra Fwy: Fmmtry Pouch Trruk I muh 'Wm' WWW es EQ WE vb Amman -mf" 1 sri IJIINYN oon ABBOTT Marlzme Shop IJ um Aux vm Alfmunl Tmznzng 55 .
