HER MAJESTY'S COURT
Gwendolyn Denise Walker, first attendant to “Miss Morris College,” is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Walker of Bamberg. Since her enrollment at Morris College, she has served in a number of leadership capacities. Included are: Treasurer of HARP’; Vice-President of the Biology Club; Corresponding Secretary of Xi Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and President of Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society, and Vice-President of Pan Hellenic Council.
Listings in Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, the Morris College Honor Roll, and awards in the Biology Club’s Essay Contest are additional honors.
Christine Smith, daughter of Ms. Lois Smith and James A. Servance was second attendant to “Miss Morris College.” She is a member of the Alpha Beta Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity. Inc.; the Business Club, and the Ushers’ Club. Christine is also an honor student.

THE CORONATION OF THE QUEEN, 1987
The amiable, charming and vivacious Tat-sha C. Robertson, of Greenville. S.C. was crowned "Miss Morris College" at the Annual Coronation Ceremony on October 2.
The new queen brings to her high calling a wealth of honors, including "Miss Freshman Class;" Honors Program Secretary: Assistant Editor of THE HERITAGE: consecutive semester listings on the Dean's Honor Roll and the 0. R. Reuben Scholars; recipient of the following awards: The Michael Jackson Scholarship: Miss Black Greenville: third runner-up to Miss Black America and first runner-up to Miss Black College Alumni Hall of Fame.
The highlight of the occasion was the crowning of Miss Morris College by the President, Dr. Luns C. Richardson.
Special commendations were accorded the SGA officers, headed by Frederick Prince, president, for their love, patience and guidance.
