PERSONALITIE DOROTHY REYNOLDS BUDDY BRITT PAT HAWKINS DOROTHY REYNOLDS Because-she is one of the two business managers of the Ayer staff and one of the most valuable assistants on the staff: Vice-President of the Student Council in 1943-447 one of the business managers of the Iunior class in 1943-445 a most dependable student with a high scholastic record throughout her high school years. Her part in the Senior play, Nine Girls, was ably performed. BUDDY BRITT Because-although only a freshman, he has accomplished much. I-le is well liked by teachers and pupils and is probably the first freshman to be one of M. H. S.'s cheerleaders. He is also in the Glee club, takes part in innumerable chapel programs and in all activities of his class. PAT HAWKINS Because-when she came to ole M. H. S. last fall the first thing she did was to get a major role in the lunior play. No, this wasnt all. She took charge of singing and other music assembly programs. Every one knows ole Pat and her red hair and thinks she is tops. She is a member of the Thespians, of the Student Council and co-operates with everybody in every way.

PERSO ALITIE IOYCE HAYs BoB WHITE EDNA PAYE STELL IOYCE HAYS Because-she is Business Manager of the Senior class, Ayer staff, Pep squad, and is Head Librarian and in other activities she is liked and depended upon by both teachers and students. She was chosen by the Senior class to run as our candidate for Presidency oi Student Council. Need we say more? BOB WHITE Because-he is the back-bone of all stage productions, Art Editor for the Hi-life, Artist for posters, banquet decoraiions, Cstorks, etc.D7 he might be called the class artist. Bob is a brilliant student, and very dependable. His versatility makes him the most outstanding boy in school. EDNA PAYE STELL Because-she has served as Vice-President oi both her Iunior and Senior classes: is Co-editor oi the Ayer , Vice-President of the Home Ec Club, was a Queens Maid at the Homecoming game in the fall of 19445 works in the Superintendenfs office: was an officer of the Pep Squad. She also played well an grnporiant role in the Senior play, Nine Girls. X

PERSONALITIE MARTHA ANN STUART THOMAS HUGH MOORE MARY EVALYN Brccs MARTHA ANN STUART Because-as a sophomore she is outstanding, especially at the piano. This year she is pianist for the Glee club, is active in the Student Council, or in any other work she may be asked to do. By both teachers and students she is popular. ln the future no doubt, she will be a leader of her class. ln addition to this, she is an A student. This alone speaks for itself. THOMAS HUGH MOORE Because-although a transfer from Oppelo and this is his first year in M. H. S., he has made many friends and is depended upon by both the students and teachers. Holds a class office and is one of our main War bond salesmen. MARY EVALYN BIGGS Because-she is not only popular with both teachers and students but very outstanding in all activities, including Pep squad, Glee club, Student Council and Iunior Red Cross work. She is a prospective leader of her class. With an A record for the first two years she should be an honor student in l947.
