Class History ln the fall of 1964, fifteen green freshmen courageously crept up the thirty-five steps to higher ground known as the Morrill High School. The class officers were Martha Isch, Presidentg Gay Strahm, Vice-Presidentg Linda Myers, Secretary-Trea- surerg Jim lsch, Student Council. Sponsor Mc Fall. During our sophomore year Gay Strahm served as President, Janice Hendricks, Vice-Presidentg Martha lsch, Secretary-Treasurer, Gregory Snyder, Student Council. Our class sponsors were Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Amend. We were the hosts to the Halloween party that year. Class projects were selling pens, a car wash, a food sale, and picking up corn. Our class officers for our junior year were: Jim Isch, Presidentg Janice Hendricks Vice-Presidentg Gay Strahm, Secretaryg Barbara McKim, Treasurer, Layne Ploeger, Student Council. Sponsors were Mrs. Hensley and Mrs. Freeman. Our activities in- cluded the Junior play, YOU CAN'T KISS CAROLINE, and the annual Christmas party. In May we gave the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom, using the theme of Paris By Night. We also decorated for Baccalaureate, Class Night, and Commencement. At last we were seniors! Class officers were Jim lsch, President, Connie Barthol- ornew, Vice-Presidentg Janice Hendricks, Secretary, Barbara McKim, Treasurer, Gene Stapleton, Student Council. Our sponsors were Mrs. Lines and Mrs. Freeman. Class projects were a slave day, magazine sale, a food sale, publication of 1968 Tiger, and the Senior Play, IT'S A GREAT LIFE. The Freshmen honored us with a Farewell Party. Commencement exercises were held May 24, with thirteen seniors graduating after twelve years of hard work and many memories. May 25, we left for the Czarks on our senior sneak trip, which was to be our last activity as a group before we went our separate ways. ' , 8
