I Al X SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS-Fall ttopj: Jim Cobb, Carl Rydingsword, Pat Ganulin. Spring tbottomlz Glenda Brooks, Hcdy Davis, Marilyn Perry. Around the World, which was the Senior Hop. The Senior Walk was painted several times during the year. HIMLL Highlights, the production in which five local high schools pooled their talents, was pre- sented in March at another school. The month of April brought forth one of the year's biggest and long- est-to-be remembered events, the Junior-Senior Prom. April Love was again staged at the Hollywood Riviera Country Club in Brentwood Hills. 6'Jazz A La Carte preceded the big activity of May, Senior Week. The four-day Senior Week began with an asembly of Senior talent in the auditorium. On the next day the Seniors took over Ingle- wood's city government. Then on Wednesday they took over teaching and administrative positions of the school. The week was beiittingly climaxed by the Senior Holiday or Ditch Day. This took place at Disneyland and was attended by over 300 Seniors, who had to pay only for part of the day's activities. The Senior Banquet in June was paid for entirely from the class treasury. Cooking, serving, and cleaning up were taken care of by the P-TA, Senior Mothers, and the Dad's Club. Class Wills and Prophecies were read here in an amusing story form. The theological inspiration por- tion of graduation was given in the auditorium in the form of Baccalaureate Services. After weeks of rehearsals, the class of 1958 graduated in a beautiful ceremony at Centinela Bowl on June 19. Commencement was followed by a Graduation Party that same night at the Hollywood Pal- ladium. Money from lollipop and fudge sales during the year helped pay for this final Senior event and the 4 a.m. breakfast that followed it.
