Herm and Larry were two of our top low hurdle men but both were side- lined part of the season with injuries. Coach Watts sets dashmen (left to right) Bill Stilson, Herm McConnell, Bill Burden, and Ted Underwood, and then gives them the gun to start the race during a practice session. These boys led the field in many of our meets. Ron Irwin finishes his leg of the mile relay and makes a successful pass of the baton to Dick Lyons.
