STUDENTS LEARN NEW SKILLS Mrs. Mclntyre, our shorthand teacher, dictates the day ' s assignment. All shorthand and typing classes are taught by Mrs. Mclntyre. She obtained her BS degree from Ferris State Col- lege. Mr. Bignall, one of our new teachers, helps two of his students, Mike Creighton and Gary O ' Neil, put the finishing touches on their project. Mr. Bignall has a BS degree in Industrial Arts from Northern Michigan University. He instructs all shop students in drafting; general, metal, and wood shop. Miss Ryzenga, home economics teacher, gives a few pointers to two of her students, Coralie Irwin and JoAnne Boerma, on cleaning up the kitchen. Miss Ryzenga also teaches psychology with a major in homemaking and a minor in science. She obtained her BS degree from Central Michigan University. LANGUAGE IS ESSENTIAL Mrs. Watson, 10th and 12th grade English teacher, helps students Vickie Howe and Sharon Ulrich, with their programed English course. Besides English, Mrs. Watson teaches 8th grade spelling and penmanship. She received her BA degree at Cen- tral Michigan University and BS degree at Ferris State College. Mr. Watts, Spanish teacher, helps stu- dents with pronunciations of various words. In addition to teaching Spanish, Mr. Watts instructs boys physical education and health for high school students and also in the elementary schools. He obtained a BS degree in Physical Education from Alma College. Foster Vredenburg is given some pointers on writing an English composition, by Mrs. O ' Neill. Along with English I, Mrs. O ' Neill has charge of the Library. She received her BS degree from Ferris State College and her Master of Arts degree from Central Michigan University.
