MATH AND ITS USAGE Mr. McGregor explains a difficult algebra problem to students Judy Kelley and Larry Sharp. Mr. McGregor teaches all algebra clas- ses, geometry, and advanced math. He obtained his BS degree from Wayne State University. Bookkeeping instructor, Mr. Huntey, explains the correct procedure for operating a checking account to Joyce Sharp and Delores Kinney. Business law and eighth grade math are also taught by Mr. Huntey. He received his BS degree from Ferris State College. Consumer problems is taught by Mr. Pugh. Here he is pointing out various parts of the engine to students Dorothy Yeskey and Marvin Irwin. Besides consumer problems, he teaches English II and speech. Mr. Pugh came to us with an AB degree from Bethany Nazarene College and he is presently working on his masters degree at Michigan State University. PEOPLE, PLACES. AND EVENTS Mr. Fitzhugh, U. S. Government teacher, Kaye Knestrick, and Paul Babbitt discuss possible candidates for presidency. Mr. Fitzhugh obtained a BA degree from Michigan State University. Along with U. S. Government, he teaches 8th grade spelling, penmanship, and history. U. S. History instructor, Mr. Laurent, points out interesting articles in SENIOR SCHOLASTIC to Pat Wilkinson and Bill Burden. Besides U. S. History, Mr. Laurent teaches Driver Education. He received a BS de- gree from Western Michigan University and a MA degree from Michigan State Univer- sity. Mr. Johnson, World Geography teacher, helps students, John Jefts, Carolyn Hyde, and Susan Turner, locate countries in Europe. Mr. Johnson, one of our new teachers, instructs all World Geography classes. He gained his AB degree in Social Studies at Hope College.
