A xx , Ji 5,- Ks. -a my THE PIANS Troupe No 27 of the National Thespians Dramatic Honor Societys major activities for 1943-1944 were the presentation of Flmer R1ce's play, American Landscape , on December 3 and erome Chedorov and Joseph Field's adaptation of Sally Benson's Junior lVliss on March 24. Two objectives recommended by The High School Theater for Victory Program prompted the selection of these particular plays. American Landscape empha- sized American background and traditions, whereas junior Miss furnished wholesome entertainment in wartime. It is an organization to which the prob- lems of the clubs are submitted. The annual Inter-Club Council dance was held on january 7, in the form of a gold-diggern dance. The club sponsored an assembly in February, at which the scl'1ool's clubs gave an account of their war activities.
