They helped in Civilian Defense activities, bought war stamps every meeting, and wrote to former members in the service. ln addition to this they erected a plaque to honor the alumni in the Armed Forces. On November I8 they held their annual clance. Eleven new members were initiated at the opening of the second semester. These boys were honored with the annual spaghetti feed. The seventeenth US and CO. The formal and mock initiations were held at school fl' and a dinner followed at the home of Mary Owen A nl Seherr. On March 23, a basketball game was played l with the Pep Society. The annual semi-formal dance was held on April l. The defense project was carried out at the Monon- rx- galia General Hospital where the members helped the ' nurses. It is an organization to which the prob- lems of the clubs are submitted. The annual Inter-Club Council dance was held on january 7, in the form of a gold-diggern dance. The club sponsored an assembly in February, at which the scl'1ool's clubs gave an account of their war activities.
