The purpose of the Palette and Brush Club is to arouse and preserve an interest in art throughout the school and community. Like all other clubs this year, an additional purpose has been to make some contri- bution to the war effort. The group has worked hard to uphold these purposes this year. Several projects have been undertaken, but the one which was probably most enjoyed by the mem- bers of the club and the art classes was that of making hand-painted tray covers for the Christmas dinners for men in the military hospital at White Sulphur Springs.
