ILL Ar D SCRQLL The Quill ancl Scroll, international honorary society for high school journalists, began its activities with a formal dinner and candlelight initiation at the Morgantown Recreation Center. Seven members were taken in, Hve seniors and two juniors, with the alumni present. To help the war effort, the Quill and Scroll sent copies of the school paper, the Red and Blue journal, to the alumni of Morgan- town High School serving in the armed forces. X UCES CL The Duces Club was reorganized this year under the sponsorship of Mr. Thomas Bolyard. A complete new con- stitution has been written and approved. The Duces attended most of the basketball games in a body and in this way helped much in the cheering section. The club prided itself in its own club basketball team which rolled over all its op- position, including ,Iack Roberts' strong Reserves.
