This year's Mustangs wound up the season with a 6-8 record, which was an improvement over the pre- vious stint. After winning two and losing one in practice tilts, the batsmen defeated South Shore, 4-l. Fenger then capsized the Empehi craft, 5-4, but the M.P. squad overcame Parker, l-O, on a five-hitter by Mike Macica. elif lg, In the next tilt, however, Bowen's Boilermakers mauled the squad, i2-6. Hyde Park won, 10-4. Next it was the Green and White's turn-Hirsch fell, 5-4, and Calumet followed, 9-7. When Morgan Park met mighty C.V.S., they were edged out, 3-2. Harper eked out a 6-5 victory in the next tilt, and a South Shore rematch saw Morgan Park fall again, 7-6. A shut-out, suffered at the hands of Fenger, 9-0, opened the way for a four-hit victory over Parker by Bob Gibson, 2-l. A 5-3 loss to Hyde Park followed, and the Mustangs closed the season with a 4-2 victory, crushing Bowen.
