Vikings Improve Record Despite Injuries Moreno Valley ' s Vikings ended the season with their best record in three years by w i n n i n g 3 and losing 6 . The record does not reflect the improved play demonstrated by this year ' s team. Many fans said, Exciting football has returned to Moreno Valley! , a credit to the Head Coach Dick Johnson and the members of his coaching staff: Rich Canada, Jim Stepp, and Vic Kezer. An unusual num- ber of games were decided in the fourth quarter, A dropped pass i n the end zone and an untimely fumble cost Moreno two games. The Vikes finished SAL play in fifth place .
