..-riff' Pint-Size Panther 4980 might be the year for pint-size panthers, but senior Sherry Dodson has more than a pint when it comes to spirit. Standing only 4'8 in a crowd, Sherry is sometimes hard to find: but at a pep rally or a game she can be seen where the action is. l'Being different is what appeals to Sherry about being the mascot. After all, there are twelve cheerleaders, but only one panther. Learning all the cheers and chants has not been very difficult for Sherry because all the cheerleaders have helped, and for this Sherry is very grateful. The first game made her feel 'inervous and almost anything to promote spirit, with confidence and enjoyment. and show lots of imagination. In addition to being a pint-size panther, Sherry is a pint-size mechanic. After being in auto in the class! Sherr lans to be a Memphis, Tennessee. naked, but since the panther can do Friends ln Other Countries A difference king of pal in a very different kind of place is what Cindy Gover has. She communicates with her pen pals in Israel Georgia and Trinidad about interesting differences within schools families and past time activities. Sometimes she sends small trinkets from our country to help them understand the American way of life. Because of the differences in life styles, Cindy enjoys learning about the culture of other countries. lf you ever need a pen pal, just ask Cindy: she will lend you one. Making Little Things A stitch in time saves nine Among the teenage girls who do cross stitch 99 percent argue that it is an enjoyable past time activity The other one percent disagree by saying that cross stitch is too time consuming and too tedious The reasons stated by the many students who were interviewed can be summed up as follows Making little things is relaxing and fun and it keeps bordom away When all is finished the product is something to be proud of l n n xx - - - - n .
