We have memories of squirrels in God's Acre, chapel services, "mad" teachers hanging out of the third floor windows, the faculty's Holy Smoking Room, forbidden snowball battles, the raising and lowering of hemlines and hairlines, the confiscation of water pistols, the readings which ranged from Shakespeare to LeRoi Jones, the eighth and eleventh grade autobiographies, the annual fifth grade Gettysburg trip, Miss M's weekly guidance sessions, and the climb from the kindergarten marching band to the graduation procession. And now, may the student body look forward to the future of Moravian Academy which in 228 years will have provided its own fond memories of Coed boarding on a country campus, and a greater impression in scientific, athletic, and extracurricular exploration.
