Strengthened and inspired by religion, We, the students, are eager and happy to share our knowledge and pastimes, to study and frolic collectively Without prejudice, and to live peacefully and har- moniously vvithin the realm of Christian brotherhood. The Good Shepherd is sym- bolic of a solidifying agent Which amalga- mates all these forces-sharing, living, studying, and enjoying-into an aggre- gate. If one of these component parts should ever go adrift, our indulgent Shep- herd Would most certainly forsake the other stable elements to go in search of the stray. It is because of this religious nucleus that We at Moravian College can be assured of a continuing unity in Our Universal Brotherhood in Miniature.
