The Class of 58 has been most fortunate in having as their sponsors Miss Josephine Ecklund and Mr John McCaffrey Senior officers are John Cox president Mary Louise Dabney vice president Carolyn Randle secretary Betty Johnson treasurer Four short years ago this class entered MHS It would be almost impossible to tell of all the wonderful times and events of these years from 1954 to 1958 but during this time they have had many new and thrilling experiences both in the field of knowledge and socially and we feel they have earned the title Seniors Among the highlights have been their sponsorship of two successful Homecoming Queen candidates: Judy Holman sophomore and Mary Louise Dabney senior Other candidates have been Betty Johnson and Annie Schmidt During their junior year they presented the play Papa Is All and were hosts to the seniors at a colorful Prom at which the theme was Around the World in Eighty Days As seniors they chose The Defender as their class play and Jean Tulin and Danny White were their candidates for the Turkey Trot Queen and King Now having attained their goal they look forward to and make plans for the future As they go their separate ways only the best is wished each and every one
