Witnessed 78 inches of rain in the II dav jicriod from 15 .lulv-20 July- 1 7 inches in an eight-hour jieiiod. Went to Sea and .Anchor Detail 61 times while dcjiloved. Participated in the Rescue and Assistance of Hong Kong victinr- of Typhoon Wanda. Dental Officer filled 750 teeth in the ix-monlh tour ami pulled 100. Either sent or received a total of 3,749 messages. Participated in a Search and Rescue mission off the coa t of the Philipjunes when a jilane earning 13 passen- gers was reported as jnissing in the area. 47
