Sec. Z - To Mr. Black and the entire faculty we bestow our appreciation for their patience and helpful guidance. Sec. 3 - To the Juniors we leave the deserving title SENIORS and the many responsibilities that go with it. ARTICLE II Sec. 1 - I, Amy Barber, leave my neatness to Carolyn Hill. Sec. 2 - I, Shirley Brown, leave my talkative ways to Elizabeth Bailey. Sec. 3 - I, SarahSui-nrners, leave my small figure to Patsy Bishop. Sec. 4 - I, Cecil Ashley, leave my ability to digest flash bulbs to Kenny Brann providing he eats them only when he is hungry. Sec. 5 - I, Jerry Faucette, leave my height to Harry Jones as it will go well with his skill in basketball. Sec. 6 - I, Juanita Shelton, leave my height and ability to play basketball to Mary Snider. Sec. 7 - We, Jerry Apple and Glenda Murrell, leave our flirty ways to Tommy Combs. Sec. 8 - I, Karen Smith, leave No. 44 to Toni Brande. Sec. 9 - I, Jackie Brown, leave my studious ways to Betsy Huffines. Sec. 10 - I, Henry Lambeth, leave the North Drive Inn to Dean Green. Sec. ll - I. Faye Green, leave my love for music to Sandra Gunter. Sec. 12 - To Deloise Hutchins, we Shelby Hardy and Wayne Brann, leave our shyness. Sec. 13 - I, Ruby Pritchett, leave my many sweaters to Esther Pickrell. Sec. 14 - To Bobby Gordon,we, Garnes Rumley andRita Roach, leave our love for Rock 'N Roll in hopes that he will become a cool cat. Sec. 15 - We, Joe Bishop and Maynard Huffines, leave our wit to Garrett Chris- mon in hopes that we will all meet on broadway someday. Sec. 16 - We Mary Belle and Douglas Wray leave our good grades to Ann Bowman providing that she will keep them up. Sec. 17 - We, Jimmy Faucette, Duke Wagoner and Thomas Austin, leave Greensboro and Summit Shopping Center to Arnold Brinkley if he will promise to look after our many girl friends. Sec. 18 - I, Russell Barber, leave my lazy ways to Howard Hedrick. Sec. 19 - To Linda Strader and Bar- bara Ashley, we Naomi Hatcher and Lloyd Tucker leave our quiet ways. Sec. Z0 - I. Jean Wyrick, leave my smile and personality to Carolyn Lewis. Sec. Zl - I, H. S. Key, leave my red hair and freckles to Keith Gunn. Sec. 22' - L Geraldine Sutton, leave my many clothes to Belva Shepherd.

CLASS PROPHECY Well, I guess it's the gypsy in me--I don't know any other reason why they chose me to fore- tell the class prophecy. I will now gaze into this crystal ball to see what the future holds for this grand class of '57. Turn onward, turn onward Oh time in your flight Let me see the graduated of '57 Ten years from tonight! Here come figures into view! Let's see now. Are they housewives? Ruby Prichette is married and living with her husband in Leaks- ville. Mary Belle Johnson and her husband have built themselves a beautiful home near Reids- ville. The armed forces has its share, including Jerry Lee Apple, CecilAshley, and Wayne Brann. They are really making a career of it. Faye Greene is teaching voice lessons in Greensboro. Russell Barber is the owner and operator of an Esso Service Station in Gibsonville. The multi-millionaires are none other than Joe Bishop andMaynard I-Iuffines. I can say they surely know how to save money. Focused next in my crystal ball are some secretaries of our xormer class. I see Jackie Brown, Jean Wyrick, and Shelby Hardy working very hardat their typewriters. Geraldine Sutton is aprivate secretary for a large firm in Char- lotte. Three cheers for the athletes! Juanita Shel- ton, after attending Elon College is now instruc- tor at Woman's College. Thomas Austin and Jerry Faucette are playing on a well-known pro- fessional team after playing on the first line-up Amy Barber Class Prophet all four years of college. The man in the dark blue suit is Henry Lam- beth, a famous lawyer. I see Duke Wagoner and Jimmy Faucette living near Florida, where they are owners of a large clothing store. Shirley Brown and Glenda Murrell are teach- ing commercial subjects in a large school in California, Lloyd Tucker, who is our master farmer, lives near Fayetteville. H. S. Key is running a trucking business of his own. l see Naomi Hatcher working very hard in her florist shop in Reidsville. Douglas Wray is doing fine artistic work in New York. Karen Smith is teaching the Second grade while Rita Roach is teaching the fourth grade in one of North Car olina ' s largest Elementary Schools. Garnes Rumley, our only movie actor, has recently been wooing the ladies. After graduating from college, Sarah Sum- mers is working as a Home Demonstration Ag ent in Forsyth County. Everyone has faded away and gone about his bu sine s s , so I had better get back to my own work. What do I do? Well, I'm teaching piano lessons at my home near Burlington.
