SENIOR CLASS '. ,, PROPHECY .ff On June 22, 1977, we hopped aboard the Crazy Rocket, 188. Our destination was the moon. We flipped our lids when we discovered that the rocket was designed by the Kuhn and Lawrence Rocket Manufacturing Com pany. After a real cool blast off, we were revived by our stewardess-nurse Donna Connell, an old classmate. You could have blown us right back to earth when we found that the Chief Pilot was Paul Errett, another old classmate. We decided to sit back, take it easy and look over our travel logue. We all grew excited when the ste- wardess told us it wouldn't be long until we reached our destination. Before we knew it we had landed on the moon. There we were greeted by Earl Perkey, Morris Seem and Gerald Sams, 3 more old friends. They own and operate a real cool atom station. We found that there were two more old friends there to greet us also. They were Mr. and Mrs. John Brubaker, the former Rosalie Hunt, and their little daughter Diana Lynn. They invited us to have supper at their country mansion. While visiting the moon we were taken on several guided tours. Our guides turned out to be Bob Sch- roeder and Tom Wittenmyer, who seemed to be enjoying life on the moon very much. The first place we stopped was at a small factory, where they manufactured space helmets. We found the proprietors of the factory to be Frank Fowler and Bill Adams, who had decided to become business partners shortly after grad- uation. Our second stop was at a combination Drug Store and Bakery Shop, As we walked in we were greeted by two more former classmates, Margaret Stone and Bonnie Horner. It certainly was good to see them again. Right next door we noticed a large Beauty Shop. We were surprised when we found out that it was operated by Janet Morgart, Mary Lou Loucks, and Carol Baugher. They have been busy creating new out of this world hair-do's. Our next stop was a visit to the Universal College, where students from all the planets attend. There we found several other former classmates. Carol Sue Earl, is teaching accordion lessons there, and doing very well. Jackie Elliott is editor of the Universal News, a weekly paper sem: all over the universe. While at the College we saw that a concert was being given at 14 o'clock. We decided to attend and were sur- prised to see that the concert pianist was LoAnna Ream. When the star vocalist came on the stage we re- cognized him also. It was Bob Garner, being accompanied by Tom Lewallen, two old friends and classmates. We also met Sonja Harmon while at the University. She is attending the University and working toward her degree in Universal Education. COMPLIMENTS OF: BILL'S MEN'S and BOY'S WEAR, Fostoria, Ohio. KITCHENS HOUSE OF MUSIC, "If its Music , We Have It", 318-322 South Main, Fostoria, Ohio. Page 35 CLA SS PROPHECY, fC0ntinuedj We decided to take an atomic taxi back to town. The driver turned out to be Larry Francis, who we hadn't seen in years, On thc way back to town we passed a huge green-cheese farm. Our driver informed us that it was owned by Gene Fulford, another old classmate. That evening we were served dinner by two of the lvloon's best cooks, Leona Hackett and Karen Kieffer who arc operating a large restaurant there on the moon. We had quite a nice talk with the girls later that evening. As we got ready to board our rocket ship we had an unexpected pleasure. Charles Borton, now Pres- ident of the Organized Planets met us ,at our Rocket Ship and gave us a final farewell. Well, it's time to be blasting off in a homeward direction. This will surely be a trip that will live in our memories forever. Watch out earth, we'rc coming home. fb- l u lllllll ,-5 1 fi- 7 r- -- -- -sf-1 SCHRODER FLORAL COMPANY, Floral Designs, Cut Flowers and Vegetable Plants, Florist Telegraph, Delivery Service, Phone 50, Pemberville, Ohio, PEMBERVILLE LUMBER COMPANY, Building Material, Mill Work-a Specialty, Phone 1512, Pemberville, Ohio.
